
48 HR VERTICAL FILM CHALLENGE
The 48 Hour Vertical Challenge is an exciting new way to invite young filmmakers to use the resources they have access to and create a 90 Second Short film whilst shooting in a Vertical Aspect Ratio.
At the Launch of the Challenge, your team will be provided with:
A PROP
A LINE OF DIALOGUE
(Spoken or Written)
A GENRE
You will then have 48 hours to write, create & edit a film that incorporates these 3 elements.
Start:
Friday 6th of March, 5pm (AEDT)
End:
Sunday 8th of March, 5pm (AEDT)

Films CANNOT exceeds 90 seconds.

All films must be submitted in a 9:16 Aspect Ratio.

Any films that do not fit within this criteria will not be eligible as a finalist.
The Producer or submitting filmmaker guarantees to the Young Australian Film Festival that they have obtained all the necessary permissions to enter this film and that the film does not infringe the rights, including copyright, of any third party. This includes use of music and literary material. - All films submitted must have been created within the 48 Hour Timeline mentioned above.
Please note: YAFF cannot refund submissions that do not meet eligibility criteria or are otherwise deemed to be disqualified under these regulations.

Your film will be posted on the YAFF Instagram Page, collaborating with the Turtle Media page and the account of the Main Contact Name
Winners are then decided on Social Media through the amount of Likes, Views and Reposts that the film receives within the span of a week, so make sure to get all of friends and family to give it a view!
